2. For each project, which choice is more logical and beneficial? Owning, renting, or leasing machinery and equipment.
3. Planning which machinery and equipment will be working on which job site at what time and for how long.
4. Considering the transportation and operating costs when dealing with multiple projects and their timelines.
5. Preventive maintenance of the machinery and equipment which can help to save a lot of down time and costs and reduce delays in projects.
This department continuously evaluates and inspects the fleet to determine whether:
– New machinery and equipment need to be added to the fleet.
– Equipment or any of its parts need to be replaced.
– If and when underutilized or damaged machinery and equipment need to be discarded or sold and at what cost.
Throughout the duration of the project, the central department monitors machinery and equipment performance and availability through visiting and inspecting by its resident experts. The machinery and equipment department’s personnel are experienced, skilled, and highly qualified. This department utilizes state-of-the-art IT technologies to gather, analyze, and process information to achieve the most accurate results and the best performance.
It is worth mentioning that the plants management of ARP also has a separate department that is responsible for providing all services about the plants of this company.
